I-294 South Take I-294 South to the Golf Road exit. Turn right (west) onto Golf Road. Take Golf Road to River Road. Turn left (south) onto River Road. Follow instructions below.
I-294 North Take I-294 North to the West Touhy Ave. exit. Follow the exit around the corner to get onto northbound River Road. Follow instructions below.

I-90 East Take I-90 East to I-294 North, then follow above directions (for I-294 North).
I-90 West Take I-90 West to the I-90/I-190 split. Take I-190 (the right two lanes) and get off at the River Road exit (the first exit). Turn left (north) at the light. Follow instructions below (for River Road northbound).

River Road southbound Take River Road through downtown Des Plaines past the Metra tracks. Turn right (west) onto the 2nd side street (Thacker). Take this a few blocks to Center Street. Turn left (south) onto Center street and go two blocks to Oakwood Ave. Turn right (west) on Oakwood and go for half a block.

River Road northbound Take River Road to Algonquin Road, where you will turn left (west). Go down 3 blocks to Center Street, then turn right (north). Travel several blocks to Oakwood Ave., where you will turn left (west) and go down half a block.

Mannheim Road Follow Mannheim Road into Des Plaines, where it will merge with Lee Street. Continue taking Mannheim/Lee north past Algonquin Road. Oakwood is the first right after the railroad tracks past Algonquin.
